Animal Control Officer/General Laborer

The Town of Ranchester is hiring an Animal Control Officer/General Laborer.

Responsibilities will include enforcing the animal control ordinances and be able to work with animals and their owners.  Other responsibilities include but not limited to cleaning of town buildings, grounds and parks, mowing, raking, weed-eating, snow shoveling/plowing, garbage pick-up and general labor. 

Applicant must be self-motivated with strong customer service skills, have attention to detail and take pride in their work; capable of working outdoors year around; able to perform strenuous physical activity; ability to lift 70 pounds; have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Pre-hire drug screening and background check is required.  Full-time position 40 hours a week, typically 10-hour days Monday – Thursday.  Medical benefits and Wyoming Retirement offered after probation period.
