The Town of Ranchester is looking to bring back a local law enforcement presence to the Town. We want to preserve the current living conditions, which have drawn so many people to the community. Ranchester has had law enforcement officers in the past, this time we are looking to build a community-oriented department with a primary focus of quality of life and safety.

Preferred Requirements for the position:

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology or related field and/or Associates degree in Criminal Justice
Minimum of fifteen years of certified peace officer experience.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Must have current certification as a law enforcement officer and ability to maintain certification.
Any other minimum standards set by Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.
Must pass background investigation.
Be established in the 82839 zip code
